Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

​

A booking is only confirmed once the agreed deposit (if applicable) has been received. The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed date prior to delivery of final images, unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Creative Style

​

By booking, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed my portfolio and are familiar with my style. Editing, colour, and overall look are at the photographer’s discretion and are not subject to change once delivered.

3. File Storage, Loss & Damage

​

Every reasonable care is taken to ensure that photographs and digital files are safely stored and backed up. However, in the unlikely event that files are lost, damaged, corrupted, or destroyed due to circumstances beyond my control (including but not limited to equipment failure, data corruption, theft, fire, or acts of God), my liability is limited as follows:

• If possible and appropriate, a reshoot may be offered, at my discretion, depending on the nature of the booking and circumstances.

• If a reshoot is not possible, liability will be limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected portion of the work.

• No further compensation, including consequential losses, can be claimed.

4. Reshoots

​

Reshoots are not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Factors such as availability, location, subject matter, and external conditions will be taken into account.

5. Force Majeure

​

I am not liable for failure to deliver services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, extreme weather, government restrictions, or equipment failure. In such cases, best efforts will be made to reschedule where possible.

6. Client Responsibility

​

The client is responsible for ensuring all necessary permissions, access, and cooperation are in place for the shoot. I am not responsible for missed shots or reduced quality due to restrictions, lack of access, or interference beyond my control.

7. Image Delivery & Archiving

​

Final images will be delivered in the agreed format. Files are archived for a limited time only, and long-term storage is not guaranteed. Clients are strongly advised to download and back up their images upon receipt.

8. Copyright & Usage

​

All images remain the copyright of the photographer unless otherwise agreed in writing. Usage rights granted to the client will be outlined at the time of booking.

9. Use of Images & AI Alteration

​

The client agrees that delivered images represent the photographer’s finished work and creative intent. The use of AI tools, filters, or additional editing (including but not limited to AI enhancement, generative fills, face/body alteration, or style transfer) to alter the final images is not permitted without prior written consent.

If the photographer becomes aware that images have been altered using AI or other editing methods that significantly change the appearance, quality, or intent of the original work, this will be considered a misrepresentation of the photographer’s work.

In such cases, the photographer reserves the right to:

• Request immediate removal of the altered images from all platforms

• Withdraw usage rights

• Take appropriate action to protect their copyright and reputation

This includes, where necessary, legal action.
